4 en 1: The Best Of Costa Rica

During the drive you will begin to feel at home in Costa Rica as we enter the City of Alajuela, with the second largest population in the country. As we continue our drive north, we begin to observe the vast difference between the constructions of city homes to the ones that encompass the green countryside. These homes are surrounded by strawberry farms, huge ferns, and flower plantations, which compliment the massive coffee fields.
We now begin our assent to the National Park where we will soon relax and enjoy an authentic cup of Costa Rican coffee accompanied by a delicious tropical breakfast. You will feel a change in temperature and the lush vegetation becomes apparent, preparing us for the pleasures of the exuberant cloud forest of the Poas Volcano. On a clear day the view of the main crater is admired by all visitors, with its diameter is considered one of the widest in the world. Parque Nacional de Tortuguero

Depart from San José accompained by your bilingual naturalist guide.
Driving first past coffe plantations, we'll head into the mountains of Braulio Carrillo National Park where steep slopes are covered with thick cloud forest and beatiful waterfalls can be seen from the road.
Just after Braulio Carrillo National Park, we stop for a typical Costa Rican breakfast, fresh fruit, coffee, eggs and the popular gallo pinto.
Following breakfast, we continue to a Banana Plantation, where we visit a Banana Packing Plant. Your guide will explain the process of growing and exporting tha fruit. We later abandon our bus and embark on the most exiting part of this tour: the boat trip into the jungle on the Caribbean Canals to the world famous Tortuguero National Park.
We will enjoy a hearty, typical lunch to please the hungriest of appetites.
After lunch we will take a tour to Tortuguero Town where you will have a chance to interact with the local people as you walk on the beach.
